Gentiloni: Freedoms not sacrificed for security

Italian Prime Minister Paolo Gentiloni said on Feb. 27 that the intelligence services were working well to counter the threat of terrorism, adding that freedoms will not be sacrificed for security.

“You don't respond to a threat by closing up, but by accepting the challenge,” said Gentiloni as he presented the nation’s annual intelligence report.
